Studio Docs
Explore the tools, features, and capabilities of the BASE 3D-AR Studio.
How It Works
Go from raw 3D asset to live AR experience in three simple steps.
Upload or Generate
Drag and drop your 3D model into the Studio, or create one from scratch using our AI-powered 3D Generator. Text prompts and reference images both work.
Customize & Brand
Design your experience with professional lighting presets, material editing, animation controls, and your own branding. Preview on desktop and mobile simultaneously.
Publish & Share
Go live with one click. Share via link, QR code, or embed on any website. Your audience can view in 3D and launch AR instantly, no app required.
Core Features
A complete toolkit for creating, managing, and publishing professional 3D-AR content.
Model Editor
Drag and drop .GLB uploads up to 50 MB, five per batch, with a local preview before you confirm, then fine-tune each model in three tabs: Scene, Controls and Material. Five view modes (UV Checker, Solid, Render, Wireframe, Normals), automatic Draco and WebP optimization, live thumbnails and 4K PNG screenshots. One Save puts every edit live.
Scene Editor
Seven built-in scene presets (Default, Factory, Studio, Spotlight, Showroom, Cinematic, Outdoor) plus up to 20 of your own that work on any model. 20 HDRI environments, 63 gradient backgrounds or none, exposure and light controls, and soft VSM shadows at 2048x2048 with adjustable softness.
Material Editor
Real-time PBR editing of Base Color, Roughness, Metalness, Normal, Emissive, Occlusion and Alpha, each with its own texture upload (PNG, JPG or WebP up to 15 MB) and a reset to the original value. Edits are a non-destructive layer, so your original GLB is never changed.
Control Editor
Auto-rotate speed, zoom and pan with zoom limits, orbit locks for the rear or bottom view, and a saved Start View. Fine-tune the X and Y offset, 3-axis orientation and Model Scale, the real-world size in centimeters used in AR, plus animation playback with a clip picker.
3D Generator (AI)
Generate production-ready models from reference images or text descriptions with six AI engines: Meshy, Tripo, Rodin, Hunyuan, TRELLIS and Pixal3D. Up to 3 generations run at once.
Page Designer
Brand your 3D-AR pages with a custom logo, AR button styling and QR popup design, set independently for desktop and mobile. Eight built-in Page Themes, or save your own.
Library
Every model is paired 1:1 with its own 3D-AR page. Search, filter and export the list, open Share & Embed for the QR code and public link, archive or restore models, and download up to 100 models at once as one ZIP.
Analytics
Track views, AR activations, QR scans and engagement time across 12 real-time Quick Stats. Filter by date range, drill into per-page analytics, and export PDF reports.
AI Assistant
BASE AI answers questions about every Studio feature, plan and setting in your language. In Studio it sits in the sidebar or pops out into its own window, knows your plan and counters, and can look at up to 4 screenshots per message. On this site, open the AI Assistant chat button.
Model Optimizer & Quick View
Two free tools that need no account and never upload your file. Model Optimizer shows a .GLB at four detail levels with real triangle counts, converts textures to WebP or PNG at 1K or 2K, adds Draco and downloads the lighter file. Quick View opens a .GLB up to 50 MB instantly.
Where You Land
Studio opens straight into the 3D Generator, the first item in the menu: the viewer with your model strip along the bottom and the generation panel beside it. Switching to Model Editor, Page Designer, Library, Analytics or Resources is instant, with no page reload. Already have a .GLB? Use the upload button in the top bar.
Studio on Phones
On a phone, Studio uses a compact layout of the same dashboard: a bottom tab bar, the viewer at the top and settings in a half-screen bottom sheet. The 3D Generator, Model Editor and Page Designer all work there, with the same options as on desktop. Heavy editing is still most comfortable on a larger screen.
3D Generator (AI)
Turn a reference image or a text prompt into a production-ready GLB with PBR materials. Six AI engines, up to 3 generations running at once and 10 more waiting in the queue.
Image to 3D
The default tab, supported by every engine. Drop PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or HEIC files of up to 20 MB each; AVIF and HEIC are converted to JPEG on the server, so every engine receives the same image. For multi-view, add photos of the same object in the order front, back, left, right, the order every multi-view engine reads. Drag to reorder, remove a single image or use Remove all.
Text to 3D
Describe the object in natural language, from 10 to 500 characters, with a live counter under the prompt. Available on Meshy, Tripo, Rodin and Hunyuan. TRELLIS and Pixal3D work from images only: selecting either one switches the generator to Image to 3D and keeps the Text to 3D tab locked until another engine is chosen.
Multi-view Image Limits
Six AI Engines
Listed in the order of the Studio engine picker, where every row shows a live status dot, the supported modes and Speed and Detail ratings from one to three dots. Meshy is selected by default.
Meshy
Top textures, most options. The widest control set and the most polished PBR textures, with 4K Texture Quality, Quad topology and Ultra Mode. Version 7.1 keeps Image to 3D results closest to the reference photo. Built by Meshy and called directly.
Tripo
Fast and reliable choice. The only engine rated 3 for speed, made for quick iteration and dependable everyday assets. Polygons Low switches to Tripo's Smart Mesh line for clean low-poly topology. Built by VAST and called directly.
Rodin
Sharp edges, clean mesh. Crisp hard-surface geometry with five Quality tiers, a Quad retopology mode and the largest multi-view input. Built by Hyper3D and served through fal.ai. Textures are 2K on every version.
Hunyuan
Best for simple shapes. Two pipelines behind one name: Pro for version, polygon and multi-view control, Rapid for a quicker result. A strong first choice for a text prompt without a reference image. Built by Tencent and served from Tencent Cloud.
TRELLIS
Quick with real materials. Single-image conversion with full PBR materials, base color plus metallic roughness, and the shortest measured generation time in Studio. Built on Microsoft TRELLIS.2, an MIT licensed open model, and served through fal.ai.
Pixal3D
Solid all round detail. Faithful single-image reconstruction with up to 4K textures and a Max step of about 1.5 million triangles. Built on TencentARC Pixal3D, an MIT licensed model in the TRELLIS.2 line, and served through fal.ai.
Options by Engine
Version sits next to the engine in the AI Engine section, as a picker with its own Speed and Detail ratings; every other option is an open switcher row, so all settings are visible at once. Defaults are marked. A choice that cannot apply to the current combination is locked with the reason shown, and a row left with only one valid choice is hidden until it applies again.
Meshy
Version: Version 6 · Version 7.1 (default)
Polygons: Low · Medium · High (default) · Max
Ultra Mode: Off (default) · On
Texture: None · Color · PBR (default)
Texture Quality: 2K (default) · 4K
Topology: Triangle (default) · Quad
Low builds the mesh directly at a small budget with Smart Topology: it is triangle only, not available for multi-image, and it runs its own model in both modes, so the Version picker is hidden on Low. Medium remeshes to Meshy's own default budget, High to the highest target the Meshy API accepts, and Max returns the raw mesh with no cap, often millions of faces. Quad is built during remesh, so it needs Medium or High, and the Topology row is hidden on Low and Max. Ultra Mode adds finer surface detail on Version 7.1 only, so its row is hidden on Version 6 and on Low. Texture Quality is a true resolution switch, 2048 or 4096 pixels, on both versions, and its row is hidden when Texture is None. In the Version picker, Version 7.1 rates Detail 3 and Speed 3, Version 6 rates Detail 2 and Speed 2.
Tripo
Version: v3.0 · v3.1 (default)
Polygons: Low · High (default)
Ultra Mode: Off (default) · On
Texture: None · Color · PBR (default)
Texture Quality: Standard (default) · Detailed
Low runs Tripo's Smart Mesh (P1) line, which builds clean low-poly topology instead of reducing a dense mesh. It is a different model, so it looks different from High, and Tripo chooses the face budget itself. Version, Ultra Mode and Texture Quality have no effect on it, so those three rows are hidden while Low is selected. Texture Quality is also hidden when Texture is None. High is the adaptive native mesh with no face limit. Ultra Mode is Tripo's maximum detail mode and raises the native ceiling from 1.5 to 2 million triangles on v3.1. Texture Quality is not a resolution switch: Standard and Detailed both output 2048 pixel maps, and Detailed packs more real surface detail into them. Output is always triangles. In the Version picker, v3.1 rates Detail 3 and Speed 2, v3.0 rates Detail 2 and Speed 3.
Rodin
Version: Gen 2 · Fast · Gen 2.5 (default)
Polygons: Low · Medium · Ultra · Original (default)
Quality: Draft · Fast · Even · High (default) · Ultra
Texture: PBR (default) · Shaded · None
Mesh Mode: Raw (Tri) (default) · Quad
Low, Medium and Ultra are Rodin's own mesh presets, applied while the mesh is extracted. On Gen 2.5 and Fast, Original sends no face target, so Rodin resolves the count from the selected Quality tier; Gen 2, which has no tier, requests its top 500K triangle preset. Quality sets the speed and fidelity tier, and Ultra adds micro-scale geometric detail. The Fast version tops out at the Fast tier, and Gen 2 has a single tier, so the Quality row is hidden on Gen 2. On Gen 2.5 and Fast, PBR textures are cleaned of baked lighting and highlights from the reference. None is not available on Gen 2. Quad is a retopology mode with a practical ceiling near 50,000 quads, available on Low, Medium and Ultra; because the default Original keeps Raw, the Mesh Mode row appears once you pick one of those three. Rodin has no HD or 4K texture option: its textures are 2K on every version. In the Version picker, Gen 2.5 rates Detail 3 and Speed 1, Fast rates Speed 3 and Detail 1, Gen 2 rates Detail 2 and Speed 2.
Hunyuan
Version: 3.0 · 3.1 (default), Pro only
Polygons: Low · Medium · High (default), Pro only
Engine: Pro (default) · Rapid
Texture: None · Color · PBR (default)
Pro is the full-control pipeline with Version, Polygons and up to 4 views, the first being the front and the next three back, left and right. Rapid is the quicker pipeline: it takes a single image and has no polygon level, so it always returns the native mesh. Selecting Rapid removes the Pro-only Version and Polygons rows from the panel on purpose, because Tencent rejects any request that carries an unsupported field, and keeps only your main image. On Pro, Low and Medium apply a face target, while High sends none and returns Hunyuan's native mesh, the provider's documented default of about 500,000 faces and the highest quality level. Hunyuan has no topology control. In the Version picker, 3.1 rates Detail 3 and Speed 2, 3.0 rates Detail 2 and Speed 3.
TRELLIS
Quality: Draft · Standard (default) · Fine
Polygons: Low 5K-50K · Medium 50K-250K · High 250K-500K (default) · Max 500K-2M
Texture Quality: 1K · 2K (default) · 4K
Image to 3D only, from one image. There is no Version control: TRELLIS 2 is the model's own name and a single version is served. Quality sets the generation resolution, 512, 1024 or 1536, where higher is slower and more detailed. The provider takes a free triangle target rather than preset levels, so each Polygons step covers a band of its published range. Max means do not simplify: a raw mesh already under the target is returned untouched. Output is always PBR.
Pixal3D
Quality: Standard (default) · Fine
Polygons: Low 5K-50K · Medium 50K-250K · High 250K-500K (default) · Max 500K-1.5M
Texture Quality: 1K · 2K (default) · 4K
Image to 3D only, from one image, with no Version control. Quality sets the generation resolution, 1024 or 1536. As on TRELLIS, each Polygons step is a band of the provider's published triangle range. Max reaches about 1.5 million triangles and produces a heavy file, so choose it deliberately. Most of a Pixal3D wait is the provider queue rather than generation itself. Output is always PBR.
Polygons, Textures and Topology
Shared names across engines, engine-specific mechanisms underneath.
Polygon Ladder
Every engine shows its own ladder, ordered from lightest to heaviest: Meshy Low · Medium · High · Max, Tripo Low · High, Rodin Low · Medium · Ultra · Original, Hunyuan Low · Medium · High, and TRELLIS and Pixal3D Low · Medium · High · Max. The last step is always that engine's highest quality and is the default on Tripo, Rodin and Hunyuan; Meshy, TRELLIS and Pixal3D default to High, because their uncapped top step has no size ceiling. Capping only makes the file smaller, it never adds detail. Your level carries over when you switch to an engine that offers it.
Texture & Texture Quality
Texture picks the material output: None, Color or PBR on Meshy, Tripo and Hunyuan, and PBR, Shaded or None on Rodin; TRELLIS and Pixal3D always return PBR. Texture Quality differs per engine: on Meshy it is a true resolution switch, 2K or 4K; on Tripo, Standard and Detailed are both 2048 pixels; on TRELLIS and Pixal3D it is 1K, 2K or 4K. It has no effect when Texture is None. Rodin has no texture resolution control and no HD or 4K option, so its textures are always 2K. For 4K textures, use Meshy, TRELLIS or Pixal3D.
Topology
Two engines produce quad meshes. Meshy offers Topology Triangle or Quad, with Quad on Medium and High, its two remesh levels. Rodin offers Mesh Mode Raw (Tri) or Quad, with Quad on Low, Medium and Ultra and a practical ceiling near 50,000 quads, which makes it the engine for a low-poly quad mesh; the row appears once one of those three levels is selected. Tripo, Hunyuan, TRELLIS and Pixal3D always output triangles. For game-ready assets, pick Low or Medium, and on Rodin also set Mesh Mode to Quad.
Ultra Mode
A separate switch on two engines. On Meshy it adds finer surface detail and is available on Version 7.1 only, not on Low. On Tripo it is the maximum detail mode for intricate models and raises the native triangle ceiling, from 1.5 to 2 million on v3.1; it has no effect on Low. Both add generation time. It is not the same as Meshy's Max polygon step, Rodin's Ultra polygon step or Rodin's Ultra Quality tier.
Generate, Track, Download
Press Generate 3D Model under the panel; if the prompt or image is missing, the empty field glows instead of starting a run. The Generating screen lets you cancel, or return to the form with Generate New Model while the job keeps running on the server, so you can start the next one and walk away.
Estimated Time
An ETA line in the prompt box shows the expected wait and recalculates on every change of engine, version, option, mode and image count. It is calibrated on completed production jobs and adapts to your own recent runs in the same browser. Measured generation time runs, fastest to slowest, TRELLIS, Tripo, Hunyuan, Rodin, Meshy, then Pixal3D, and the provider queue can add to any of them. Higher polygon steps and Quality tiers, Ultra Mode, 4K textures, Quad and extra views add time; a lighter texture output shortens it. Tripo is the only provider that publishes a figure: about 40 seconds without texture and about 120 seconds with texture on v3.1.
Three at Once, Ten in Queue
Up to 3 generations run at the same time, on one engine or across several. Starting a fourth never fails: it joins a server-side queue of up to 10 more, shown as #N in line, which starts the next job the moment one finishes. The queue survives refreshes, closed tabs and other devices. Removing a queued job gives its new model back, because nothing has been sent to the provider yet. The same limits apply on every plan.
Job Selector
A job selector at the top of the panel shows a pulsing status dot, the active job and an N of M generating counter. Its list lets you focus, cancel, retry or dismiss each job, and failed jobs stay listed until dismissed, so a background error is never lost. When you return to the page, running jobs and fresh results are restored automatically.
Live Engine Status
Every engine row carries a live status dot: ready, busy or offline. An offline engine is dimmed and cannot be selected. When an engine's capacity is momentarily full, a notice names the available alternatives, with a one-click switch to the first alternative; your prompt stays in place.
Saved to Your Library
On completion the model is saved to your library automatically, with its own 3D-AR page, and appears in the model slider. The result card shows a live preview, the generation time and the configuration badges, with Download, as GLB or USDZ and always free, and Live page.
New Models & Your Plan
Every generation, Image to 3D or Text to 3D, counts as one new model, exactly like a .GLB upload. Free includes 3 new models a month and 3 live models; Pro includes your chosen capacity of both, from 40 models for $20 a month. A generation counts when it starts and holds a live spot while it runs. Cancelling a running job keeps it counted; provider failures and timeouts are given back automatically. The two counters are explained under Plans.
Library
Your command center for every published page. Models, live links and views in one searchable place.
Everything in One View
Every page you own in a single list: Base models, AI-generated creations and your own uploads. The header keeps three live stats up front: Pages, Active and Total Views.
One Row per Page
Each row pairs a model with its live page: thumbnail, title with type tag (Base, AI-Gen, Upload), inline rename, live link, Views, status badge and Updated. Gallery cards match.
Row Actions
Open live page, Copy link, Info, Share & Embed, analytics, Page Designer, Model Editor, Download and Delete. Deleting a page also permanently deletes the 3D model behind it.
Links, QR & Embed
Every row shows its public view URL with a copy button. Share & Embed puts the downloadable QR code, Copy Link and Copy Embed in a single panel.
Search, Filter & Sort
Search by page title or model name, filter by All, Active, AI-Gen, Uploaded, Base or Archived, and sort by updated, newest, title or views. Export the list as CSV, Excel or JSON, or copy every live link at once.
Bulk Download & Delete
Tap Select Models to tick rows or images; Select all takes only what your search and filter show. Download packs up to 100 models into one ZIP of GLB files with your material edits applied, with progress and Cancel. Delete shows the exact count, is confirmed first and cannot be undone. For your whole library, use Export All in Account.
Model Details & Downloads
Every model carries its full technical record, its page controls and one Download popup that builds exactly the file you choose. Downloads are always free and unlimited, and never count as a new model or use a live spot.
More Details
Open More Details from the info icon on any model card, the Library or Page Designer. Its Overview tab shows the generation info or uploaded file, the statistics and the linked page with QR code, live link and Analytics; its Optimize tab tunes the live file. Your own uploads also get Change Model, which swaps the .GLB and keeps the page, link and analytics.
The Statistics Grid
Eight technical metrics: Vertices, Faces, Meshes, Materials, Textures and Animations, plus Normals and Tangents as a check or a cross. AI models also list their prompt and provider.
Model Actions
The card's three-dot menu holds More Details, Live Page, Copy Link, Share & Embed, Analytics, Set Live or Set Offline, Optimize, Download, Report Model, and Delete, which also removes the page.
One Download Popup
Every Download button, on a model card, in More Details, in the Library and on a 3D Generator result, opens the same Download model card. There is no preset to pick: you set six rows, and a summary shows the real file size above a single Download GLB or Download USDZ button.
Six Rows
File format: GLB or USDZ. Reduce triangles: Original, Light, Balanced or Strong, about 25, 50 or 75 percent fewer. Textures: WebP, PNG or Original. Texture size: 1K, 2K or Original. Compress geometry: Draco. Apply my material edits. A control that cannot apply dims and says why.
Ready Files, Measured Sizes
A selection that matches a ready file is served as is: the live file your page serves, the untouched Original, the Full quality file with PNG textures and no Draco, or the USDZ. Name suffixes such as -original and -full keep versions from overwriting each other. Any other mix is built in your browser, never uploaded, and never changes the live page. Sizes are measured, never estimated.
Optimize the Live File
More Details > Optimize tunes the GLB your 3D-AR page serves: Original, Light, Balanced or Strong, about 25, 50 or 75 percent fewer triangles, each previewed as a wireframe with its triangle count, plus WebP, PNG or Keep textures at 1K or 2K and Draco. The measured final size shows before Apply, Revert restores the backup, and the iPhone USDZ is rebuilt for you.
Every Way to Download
Per model, the Download popup gives you GLB or USDZ. In the Library, Select Models downloads up to 100 models as one ZIP, and Export All in Account packs your whole library. A 4K PNG screenshot and each page's QR code as a PNG are one click away. None of it counts as a new model.
Publish & Reach Your Audience
One Save puts your page live. Share it as a link, a QR code, or an embed, with AR built in for every visitor.
Your Live 3D-AR Page
Every model gets its own 3D-AR page automatically, and a fresh upload or AI model goes live with no Save needed. Later edits stay a preview until you press Save. Set Offline shows visitors a maintenance screen without deleting anything, and Set Live brings the page back.
AR on Mobile
On a phone, the AR button opens AR through the camera, no app needed. iPhone and iPad use Quick Look with a USDZ built from your model, or an optional custom .usdz up to 50 MB. Android uses WebXR in Chrome, showing your latest materials; a browser without WebXR asks the visitor to open the page in Chrome.
Desktop QR Flow
On desktop the AR button opens a QR popup, and scanning it starts AR on the phone. Title, text and four colors are editable in the QR Popup Editor.
Branding, Per Device
Page Designer styles the AR button, your logo in five positions, and the viewer buttons: Photo, Light / Dark, Fullscreen and an optional Performance panel, a live diagnostics overlay for visitors that is off by default and turned on per page. Style desktop and mobile independently, or keep them identical with one checkbox.
Page Themes
A theme captures your whole page design for both devices. Eight built-ins ship with the Studio (Minimal, Neon, Elegant, Retro, Glass, Brutal, Azure, Cherry) and themes are account-level.
Share & Embed
The Share & Embed popup gives you the QR code with Download PNG, the public link, and the iframe Embed Code. No account needed to view a page.
Embed & Developer API
For developers. Drop a BASE viewer into any site with a copy-paste iframe, or drive the Studio from your own backend with the public REST API.
iframe Embed
Copy the Embed Code from the Share & Embed popup and paste it into any website. No build step, no dependencies.
<iframe
src="https://studio.basebros.com/view?id=YOUR_PAGE_ID"
width="100%"
height="600"
style="border:0;"
loading="lazy"
allowfullscreen
allow="camera; xr-spatial-tracking; accelerometer; gyroscope; magnetometer; fullscreen; autoplay">
</iframe>Permissions & HTTPS
The allow attribute is what makes AR work: camera, gyroscope, accelerometer and xr-spatial-tracking. Without those tokens browsers block sensor access, and AR never runs on HTTP.
Responsive & Fast
Avoid fixed pixel heights: wrap the iframe in a container with aspect-ratio: 4 / 3. Keep loading="lazy" so the 3D engine starts only when it scrolls into view.
Developer API (REST)
The public REST API is live at https://studio.basebros.com/api/v2: start generation jobs, poll status, download assets, publish or unpublish pages. GET /api/v2/status needs no auth.
API Keys & Access
API access is enabled per organization on request, so get in touch; API jobs use the same plan capacity and counters as Studio. Keys are shown once: bpk_live_ for production, bpk_test_ for simulation, and never run in a browser.
Webhooks & Spec
Webhooks notify your backend when a job finishes, signed per the Standard Webhooks spec (webhook-id, webhook-timestamp, webhook-signature). The machine-readable definition lives at GET /api/v2/openapi.
Plans & Pricing
Three plans, priced per model. Your capacity sets both how many models can be live and how many new models you can add each month, and everything here works the same way in Plans in Studio.
Plans at a Glance
Free
$0, no card needed. Up to 3 live models and 3 new models a month, AI-generated or your own .GLB upload. The full viewer, scene and material editing, AR, publishing and downloads are included. Public 3D viewer pages show a small Powered by BASE watermark, embeds included, so the AR button cannot use the bottom-right corner on Free. The BASE sample models in your library never count.
Pro
$0.50 per model, per month at our launch price, with a minimum of $20 a month for 40 models. Choose your capacity with the slider, from 40 up to 2,000 models: it sets both your live models and your new models each month, and an AI generation costs the same as an upload. For example, 60 models cost $30 a month. No BASE watermark. Works in Studio and through the API (on request). You pay for the capacity you choose, billed monthly and upfront.
Enterprise
For large catalogs and high monthly volumes, with pricing sized to your catalog: custom 3D projects built by our team, custom capacity and monthly volume, and dedicated support and onboarding. Need more than 2,000 models? Use Contact sales in Plans or get in touch, and the BASE team sets up and manages the account for you.
How to Get Pro
Open Pricing on this site and set how many models you need: upgrading takes you to Plans in Studio with that capacity already selected, after sign-in if needed. In Studio, Go Pro and Upgrade Plan open the same Plans window. A direct link works too: studio.basebros.com/?plans=1&capacity=60 opens Plans at 60 models. Checkout runs on Polar and shows the amount due today, with any tax, before you pay.
Two Counters: Live Models and This Month
Live models counts the models in your library that are not archived, up to your capacity (Free: 3). This month counts every new model you add in the current billing month, up to the same number, and resets on your billing date (on Free, the day of the month you joined). Deleting or archiving frees a live spot but never lowers This month. Example: on Pro 40 with 35 live models and 12 added since your billing date, the meters read 35 / 40 and 12 / 40. Delete 5 models and Live models drops to 30 / 40, while This month stays at 12 / 40 until it resets.
What Counts as a New Model
One per AI generation, Text to 3D or Image to 3D, counted when it starts whatever the engine or options; one per uploaded .GLB file; one per Change Model. Restoring an archived model, Set Offline or Set Live, editing, Optimize, downloads and the BASE sample models never count. A generation that fails or times out at the provider and a queued job you remove are given back automatically. Cancelling a generation that is already running is not, because the provider charges when it starts.
Choosing and Raising Capacity
Pick any number from 40 to 2,000 in Plans, and the price updates as you go (capacity × $0.50). A raise applies right away: you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the billing month now, your live model limit grows at once, and you get the matching share of extra new models for this month. Example: raising from 40 ($20) to 60 ($30) with 15 of 30 days left costs about $5 now and adds 10 new models this month; from your next billing date you pay $30 for 60. A difference under $0.50 is added to your next invoice, and a raise never moves your billing date.
Lowering Your Capacity
A lower takes effect on your next billing date, with nothing charged or refunded now, down to the 40-model minimum; below that, switch to Free. After you confirm, Change scheduled shows the date, the new capacity and price, and how many models you will need to archive or delete: with 52 live models and a new capacity of 40, that is 12. Choose now lets you pick which models stay live in advance, or you can decide later. Until the date, Keep cancels the change, and so does a raise.
Downgrade Complete and the 15-Day Archive
When a lower capacity or Free applies and you still have more live models than the plan includes, the Downgrade complete screen opens. Select models and use Archive selected or Delete selected until you fit, or Increase capacity instead (Go Pro instead on Free). It stays open until you are done. If nothing is chosen within 15 days, your most recently added models stay live up to the plan limit and the rest are archived automatically. Nothing is ever deleted automatically.
Switching to Free or Cancelling
Switch to Free in Plans, or Cancel subscription in Account or the Polar customer portal, keeps Pro until the end of the month you paid for, and Resume Pro undoes it any time before then. After that you are on Free: 3 live models, 3 new models a month and the BASE watermark. It works like lowering: Change scheduled shows how many models to archive or delete, and Downgrade complete gives you the same 15 days. Pro payments carry a 30-day money-back guarantee; email info@basebros.com to request a refund.
If a Payment Fails
If a renewal payment does not go through, new models pause (AI generations, uploads, Change Model and API jobs) while your live models and pages keep working. A Payment failed banner offers Update payment, which retries right away, and capacity changes wait until it is paid. Polar also retries your card automatically for up to 21 days. If it stays unpaid, your plan ends and you move to Free, with the same Downgrade complete screen and 15 days. Archived models come back when you go Pro again.
Taxes and Invoices
Prices are in USD. In most countries VAT is already included; in the US, Canada and India, sales tax is added at checkout. Polar, our merchant of record, works it out and shows it before you pay, and the same rule applies to a prorated raise. Every charge has an invoice under Invoices & billing in Account, and Polar emails a receipt for each payment. Update your card with Change payment method.
Archive, Delete or Set Offline
Set Offline hides a model's public page, but the model still counts as live. Archive takes the model and its page offline, stops it counting as live and keeps everything (settings, materials, page) with no time limit. Delete removes the model and its page for good, and its link and QR code stop working. Archiving or deleting frees a live spot, but neither gives back a model from This month.
Restoring When Your Plan Is Full
Restore an archived model from its menu or the Archived filter in the Library. Restoring needs a free live spot and never uses a model from This month. If every spot is in use, Your Plan Is Full offers Go Pro (Free) or Increase capacity (Pro), or Archive another model to swap one out. Choose live models in the Archived view does both in one step: it archives the models you untick and restores the ones you tick.

Open Account Settings from the account pill at the bottom of the Studio sidebar. The Account page shows your profile, your plan with a live UTC clock and join date, and the two meters, Live models and This month, with the date it resets. The Subscription card holds Change capacity, Change payment method, Invoices & billing and Cancel subscription. Change Password and changing your e-mail both confirm with a code sent to your inbox, and a new e-mail keeps all your models, pages, analytics and billing. Delete Account is a two-step confirmation with an e-mailed code and permanently removes the account with all its models, pages and analytics, so run Export All first to keep a ZIP of every model.
Analytics
Real-time visibility into how visitors find, explore and launch AR from your 3D-AR pages.
Real-Time Dashboard
The dashboard opens with 12 Quick Stats and 8 collapsible sections. Metrics include Total Views, Unique Sessions, AR Activations, 3D Interactions, QR Scans and Avg View Duration.
Traffic & Distribution
Two time-series charts plot Views and Sessions daily. The Distribution card breaks your audience into four charts: OS, Devices, Browsers and Locations.
Sources & Visitors
Top Referrers shows where traffic originates, beside a 7x24 activity heatmap. Visitor Insights covers New vs Returning, traffic sources (Direct, Social, Search, QR) and your top three Peak Hours.
Engagement & Duration
The engagement funnel tracks Page Views, 3D Interactions, QR Popup Opens and AR Activations. A doughnut chart splits session duration from Quick (under 30s) to Long (over 5m).
Per-Page Performance
The Page Selector switches between the All Pages aggregate and any single page. With All Pages selected, the Leaderboard ranks your top performers by views and sessions.
Ranges & Export
Date pills reshape the dashboard: All Time, 30D, 7D, 24H or Custom. PDF Export produces a landscape A4 report, and the dashboard polls for fresh data every 60 seconds.
Support & Updates
Reach the team, follow the answer and keep up with Studio updates, most of it from inside the Studio.
Contact the Team
Questions about plans, billing, features or partnerships go to info@basebros.com. Bug reports, API questions and integration help go to support@basebros.com. We typically respond within 2 hours on business days. In Studio, Support in the account menu opens the same contacts.
Report a Bug
Fill in a Subject, pick a Category and describe what happened. Attach up to 4 screenshots, 5MB each, and the page you were on is attached automatically.
My Reports & Messages
Every report carries a status badge: Open, In Progress, Resolved or Closed. Team replies appear underneath, and Messages works the same way for general conversations.
Announcements
A full-page timeline of Studio updates, filtered by All, New Feature, Improvement, Bug Fix, Pro Tips or Announcement. A live System Status card tracks six core systems.
Beyond the Studio
VR, the 3D Configurator and Digital Spaces are part of the BASE Solutions lineup, built as custom projects by our team rather than Studio features. Ask about them through Contact or Enterprise. Release dates are not pre-announced.
